Barb and George helped me out tremendously with a repair on a Mid Century vanity. My courier broke one of the legs at delivery and I called them to see if they could help me with the repair. George repaired it quickly, for a reasonable price and even delivered it. I definitely owe them one if they ever need anything in Los Angeles.

Amazing place with great furniture and so much more. A family business selling really high end vintage furniture (plus some books, home goods and other stuff) at surprisingly reasonable prices. Honestly worth visiting if your in the neighborhood even if you aren't looking for anything specific, its a beautiful place with gorgeous stuff to look at. We have now bought a few pieces furniture from Mid Mod and we are excited to go back...

As everyone else has said, George at MidMod Decor is amazing. We purchased a 1960s boomerang desk from him and he did a beautiful job refinishing it. It is stunning. He communicated clearly with us about the process, which itself was very fast. He even delivered it and helped us take off the door to get it in the office. What a wonderful experience! I'm excited and a little afraid about all the amazing finds here. In excited, my budget is afraid! Barbara and George really love what they do and they know their stuff. I purchased a beautiful peice from them and was unable to pick it up for several weeks. This store has so many amazing pieces. I would furnish my whole house from finds here if I could. MidMod Decor has a wonderful collection of authentic mid-century Danish and American furniture and we highly recommend them. Ten years ago we decided we wanted a different look for our home and rediscovered mid century modern designs. Unhappy with the quality, workmanship and cost of newer reproductions, we went on a hunt to find well made, beautifully designed, authentic vintage mid century modern pieces. We were fortunate to find MidMod Decor and they became our go to place for years now. Barbara and George are experts in their field. Their knowledge and expertise led us to purchase gorgeous top quality pieces that will be treasured for many years to come. The furniture is a great investment too as ours has dramatically increased in value. They do a remarkable job of refinishing and upholstery and will work with you to find or put together an unusually sized item. Barbara and George are also super friendly, fun and helpful (we spend lots of time when we go there!) Update: Our sideboard finally arrived! It’s an oiled walnut Founders credenza with a pair of jumbo sized doors. It’s perfect. We love it. Delivery was easy and we really couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Treat yourself and go say hello to George and Barbara at MidMod. What a great store run by such nice people. They have a love of furniture and helping their customers feel like they’re being heard and not just sold to. We brought our young kids and they were super accommodating. Kids had a blast playing and chatting with Barbara and we got a great sideboard for our dining room. Can’t wait to show it off. Highly recommend.

I was overjoyed with the refinishing of my credenza! It was in fairly good shape but I wanted it stripped and the woods grain raised with a light protective finish. Not a high gloss finish. They did this and fixed a few things I wasn't aware of. The pricing was right ! Barbara and her crew delivered!! Couldn't be happier! Thx

I had an incredible experience with MidMod Decor recently. They had posted a desk that was exactly what I was looking for. When I inquired about it they responded quickly with all of the details and cost. They even had an extremely reasonable refinishing and delivery cost. I was also able to customize the refinishing of the desk. They communicated regularly through the refinishing process and delivered the desk ahead of schedule. My new favorite vintage spot! I stopped by this weekend to casually look at some pieces for our dining room and ended up stuffing a vintage Wassily repro chair into my tiny sedan.
