These are very early examples of Florence Knoll's work from the late 1940's. They are solid maple! As you may or may not know, solid wood is rarely seen in mid-century modern furniture and furniture made after WW2, and for good reason, it checks and cracks due to changes in ambient moisture. But don't get me started on that right now. These beauties are priced individually which includes a full restoration (about a 3 week lead-time).
