This is a really lovely painting circa the late 1950's by artist Gertrud Schumm who was married to artist Fred Schumm. The two met and fell in love at Sculpture Center in New York. This and the other works we have by Gertrud were pulled out of her cottage in Cresco, PA which coincidentally was gifted to the Schumm's by Sculpture Center and had previously been used for artist residencies.
