Check out this amazing 1950s rectangular folding tray table, originally designed by Svend Åge Willumsen & Hans Engholm for Fritz Hansen. The rectangular tray table was never sold to the public—only given to a few lucky Fritz Hansen employees back in the day. The more common circular ones were found in retail settings.

Maintaining it's original finish, this table boasts a removable teak tray top with a beautifully curved lip, that is cradled by an "X" leg folding base with an ebonized finish. It's got that classic Scandinavian modern vibe that's both chic and practical. Use it as a side table, end table, cocktail table—heck, it's so versatile, you can use it for anything!
